One question I have about the sidebar: If the default list of topics in the sidebar doesn't have every topic needed for one or two states, can the list be edited only when needed? Also if a topic is not needed for a given state, could an item be removed from the list? I guess this is a discussion item for the sidebar template page. --[[User:Franjensen|Fran]] 22:22, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

:It is possible to build in variations to the list of topics, however if the variation applies in several circumstances then maybe it would be worth creating a whole new version. I guess without understanding the differences you are thinking of it would be hard to say what I think the best approach would be to deal with them. Could you outline some examples of the differences (additions/deletions) that you have in mind? Would agree that the list of topics would vary more between countries than between places in the same country? --[[User:CottrellS|Steve]] 14:30, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Sidebar list of topics[edit source]

This question was originally posted on User talk:Cottrells

One question I have about the sidebar: If the default list of topics in the sidebar doesn't have every topic needed for one or two states, can the list be edited only when needed? Also if a topic is not needed for a given state, could an item be removed from the list? I guess this is a discussion item for the sidebar template page. --Fran 22:22, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

It is possible to build in variations to the list of topics, however if the variation applies in several circumstances then maybe it would be worth creating a whole new version. I guess without understanding the differences you are thinking of it would be hard to say what I think the best approach would be to deal with them. Could you outline some examples of the differences (additions/deletions) that you have in mind? Would you agree that the list of topics would vary more between countries than between places in the same country? --Steve 14:30, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Moved subtopics[edit source]

The following subtopics have been moved off this sidebar because they should be subordinate parts of some of the topics already listed there.
