Known Issues[edit | edit source]

Question 1[edit | edit source]

Question 1: Some records are missing. Where can the records be viewed?
Answer 1: See answers below for information about known missing records and respective film numbers, if available, or alternate online location:

  • Tepatitlán de Morelos > Matrimonios 1883 contains marriage records for January-June 1882. The 1883 marriage records are not available online or on microfilm. The waypoint Matrimonios 1882 is the continuation of 1882 marriages containing July-December 1882.

Question 2[edit | edit source]

Question 2: The Event Type and Year Range (waypoint) title does not properly reflect the actual digital record content. How can I determine what digital records are likely to be found within a collection?
Answer 2: The list of known waypoint discrepancies describes the event type or year range existing in the collection:

  • Atenguillo > Defunciones 1945-1973 year span should be 1945-1962, 1966-1973. Images 526-548 are for the town of Atotonilquillo and belong in Chapala > Defunciones 1963.
  • Cuautla > Nacimientos 1897 should read as Defunciones, Nacimientos 1897.
  • Encarnación de Díaz > Matrimonios 1863-1867 should read as Lagos de Moreno > Matrimonios 1867.
  • Guadalajara > Nacimientos 1888 includes the January-June records starting on image 384 and both Films 278549 and 278550.
  • Juchitlán > Nacimientos 1877 year span should be 1877-1878. The 1877 records start with image 71 of 122.
  • La Barca > Defunciones 1924-1929 includes 1925 marriage records on images 123-259.
  • Lagos de Moreno > Matrimonios 1863-1867 should read as Encarnación de Díaz > Matrimonios 1867-1868.
  • Mascota > Defunciones 1891 includes images from Ixcatán and Los Reyes, but not Mascota, as stated in the Catalog Notes.
  • Tlajomulco > Matrimonios 1913-1947 should read as Matrimonios 1948-1950, Defunciones 1905-1922 (faltan 1914).
