La Bahia Road
Early History
The La Bahia Road running from western Louisiana into southeast Texas is an old road in use before European settlement. The Spanish extended the roadway to Goliad and subsequently it was used by American Pioneers settling in Texas. In modern days, it is both a scenic and historical route.
