Joining the England Project[edit | edit source]

Welcome to the England Project information page.

There are 3 ways you can participate in the England Project.  We will train you and provide you with a mentor whichever you choose:

Contribute Information You Have
[edit | edit source]

If you have access to information about the England parishes that you want to add to the parish pages, we welcome that information.  If you already know how to edit on the wiki, all we ask that you do is to contact the Project Manager to sign up and get your task added to the task list.  Please complete the Project Volunteer Form to be assigned a mentor and be trained on editing the wiki.

Contribute Basic Information
[edit | edit source]

These are "easy" tasks, many of them copy and paste, that are perfect for beginners, or for someone who doesn't have a lot of time to dedicate to the project.  You can sign up on the Easy Tasks Chart to do a single county, or as many counties as you can do.  Please complete the Project Volunteer Form to be assigned a mentor and be trained.

Contribute Advanced Information
[edit | edit source]

These are more advanced tasks such as inserting a table or compiling information that are easier for someone with some prior experience working on the wiki.  You can sign up on the Advanced Tasks Chart to do a single county or as many counties as you can do.  Please complete the Project Volunteer Form to be assigned a mentor and be trained.
