My name is Robert V. Bremer, and I live in the Columbus, Ohio area, although I am originally from southern California. My interest in genealogy began around age 10, and it eventually led me to major in history in college (A.B., 1979, Occidental College). I continued on to complete a master degree in library science (M.S.L.S., 1981, University of Southern California). I have since worked in a variety of libraries in cataloging and technical services. In 1988, I began working for OCLC in its database quality area where I maintain and improve the bibliographic data used in libraries.
My areas of genealogical research include the United States (particularly New England), England, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland.
I became a wiki contributor initially to maintain the wikipage for my Family History Center, but I have recently been searching and eliminating common typographical errors.
