I grew up in Panama and attended the Canal Zone College before moving to the US. My family originated from the provinces of Veraguas and Chiriqui, but I also have Chinese, Sephardic, and indigenous roots (Dorasque). I've been researching my family history for over 20 years. During that time, I was able to collect a large library of Panama books that are rich in historical, cultural, and biographical data.
I'm active in several local genealogical groups and am a volunteer at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. I've taught seminars on Hispanic genealogy in both English and Spanish. I added most of the Panama wiki contributions, but I hope to add a lot more from my collection. I invite your comments, contributions, and your stories. If you have something to contribute but would rather not post it yourself, please send me a message and I'll add it for you.
