  • Romeral was created as November 12, 1892 by the name of Villa Alegre.
  • Originally the commune has two parts, the largest was Villa Alegre and the youngest was Romeral. In 1925 they changed the name to Romeral to everything to avoid confusion with the other Villa Alegre.
  • The commune of Romeral has a population of approximately 12,700 people.[1].
