Open Hours: (changes effective 1 January 2019 )

  • Tuesday: 10am - 4pm
  • Sundays: 3 PM - 5 PM
  • Center may be used (7 thru 8:30 PM Tues, Wed, Thur & Sun) by Youth Groups and for training by scheduling the center in advance
    • To schedule youth & other groups, please call Judy Gyllenskog 541-773-9984.

  • We will be attempting to offer special classes once a month. Check your ward bulletins for dates and times. All classes taught in the Medford Oregon Stake Temple & Family HIstory Center

Class Schedule[edit | edit source]

  • Indexing: Thursday, January 17th, 7 PM - 8:30 PM. Class taught by Linda Emley
  • Using your Smart Phone to add Memories to FamilySearch: Thursday, February 21st, 7 PM - 8:30 PM. Class taught by Cynda Webb.
  • How to conduct an awesome interview with a living relative, Sunday, March 17th, 5 PM- 6 PM. Class taught by Michael Nelson.
  • Researching in England, after 1850, Sunday, April 14th, 5 PM - 6 PM. Class taught by Rozanne Hall.
  • Researching in the Netherlands, Sunday, May 19th, 5 PM - 6 PM. Class taught by Terry Burgess
  • Consultant training classes are for all consultants and ward family history leaders.Usually held first Monday of month at 10 AM as well as first Tuesday of month at 7 PM.
  • Consultant Training resumes Monday, 9 September 2019 at 10 AM and/or Tuesday, 10 September 2019 at 7 PM.

FamilySearch Catalog:  As of August 2018, films and fiche are no longer available for loan from Salt Lake. Check the local Family HIstory Center, to see what is available there. Many films were ordered and kept on long term basis. These films will not be returned to SLC and are available for use by patrons.[edit | edit source]

We have a children's area so you may bring your little ones while you work on your family tree.
