1591: Castano de Sosa names the pueblo Santo Domingo

1605: First church built

1680: Pueblo Revolt; against the Spanish

1692: Kesesan tribe settled on the Jemez Mesa

1696: Jemez Rebellion

2009: Name changed to Kewa Pueblo[1]
