Fort McDermitt Indian Reservation
The Fort McDermitt Reservation is located on the Nevada-Oregon border, partly in Humboldt County, Nevada and partly in Malheur County, Oregon. It is about 75 miles north of Winnemucca, Nevada.

The Fort McDermitt Reservation was established 17 January 1936 by act of Congress (49 Stat. 1094). Other parcels of land were added in 1936, 1940, 1941, 1943, 1944, 1956, 1957, 1960, and 1973[2].
