Dear Wiki Contributor,
We are going to start working on the Idaho project again. I am Rorie Jenson (a FamilySearch missionary) and I have been working on the Wiki for two years. I worked with Jimmy Parker on the Idaho project. Since Jimmy passed away, there has been no work done on this project. I am going in to the offices to scan in the rest of Jimmy’s work; I am sure this well take some time, but I am going to start up the project again. Jimmy - Would it be helpful if I added links to each county listed in the table? That way someone could find a need (blank in the table) and go immediately to the county and begin working. Lise 15:50, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
That would be very helpful, Lise. I just haven't had time, but it would simplify things for the team members, I am sure. We are having a training meeting Tuesday afternoon for the team members and I've been trying to get some tasks described so I can assign them out. Jimmy B. Parker 16:10, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
I didn't think to ask, Lise, but which county table were you referring to -- the one on the main project page or the ones on the task pages? I really like your idea of placing the links to the counties in the table, so I think when I create the next task definition, I will make sure the link is attached to the county name. Jimmy B. We need team members to volunteer to do these 230+ cities and towns, but we need you to volunteer for specific towns so we do not duplicate one another's work. Please review the list of towns in the chart below and sign up for the county for which you would like to volunteer by placing three tildes (~~~) in the "Responsible Party" column.
WikiProject Idaho template[edit source]
Hi Jimmy, sometime ago you accepted my offer to use the WikiProject Idaho as a test case for using templates on the talk pages of articles to indicate article quality and importance. Today I have added the {{WikiProject Idaho}} template to all of the Idaho stubs and some others to show how this template can be used.
All the talk pages of the articles where I've added this template are now listed in Category:WikiProject Idaho articles. They are also listed with the subcategories of Category:Idaho articles by quality and Category:Idaho articles by importance depending on the parameters that I added to the template. As article are improved or reassed for importance the template on the talk page can be updated resulting in the reassignment of the talk page to the appropriate category. --Steve 16:30, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
