Brief History[edit | edit source]
This Unit was organized at South Bend, Indiana, and mustered in October 21, 1862.
It march to Washington, D. C., via Richmond, Virginia, April 29-May 20 and Grand Review May 24. They mustered out June 6, 1865.[1]

99th Regiment, Indiana Infantry was organized within the Ninth Congressional District.
